Revolutionary XR technology transforms outdoor spaces — and a booming industry — into new worlds

SHANGHAI, August 1, 2025 – AStation AStation CEO Chris Chen took the stage at ChinaJoy — Asia's largest digital entertainment tradeshow — to announce extraordinary first-year results.

AStation uses Apple Vision Pro headsets and six geo-sensing cameras to layer vivid virtual worlds onto massive real outdoor spaces. Ancient dragons soar through real streets. Mythical creatures roam art districts. Dinosaurs thunder through famous landmarks.
The flagship Beijing location — in the iconic 798 Art District — launched two breakthrough experiences: Shan Hai Space, an interactive adventure featuring mythical creatures throughout 798's alleyways and cafes, and Dinosaur Park, which transports visitors to the Jurassic era.

"AStation relies on outdoor spaces," said Chen. "That means no expensive mall leases — and no limits on scale." City squares become story worlds. Heritage sites come alive. Tourist destinations are transformed.
"This is not about sticking virtual content onto outdoor spaces," said one cultural tourism director after experiencing the technology. "It's about giving physical spaces digital DNA."
